Guillermo Peñalver (Tarragona, 1982) is a painter who makes use of the collage to relax of the tensions of the painting, but that ends for using the cuts of paper  as the proper painting.

With palpable influences that go from Bourgeois up to Rousseau, his works thinking concerning dichotomies like city - nature, organisms-mechanical components or rationally - irrationally. In his pieces, the organic beings disappear, ghostly; the mechanisms, gears and the industry meet invaded by an over-excited nature that slips past up to the bottom of the domestic spaces and explodes lounges and windows, whereas the urban house corners to shrubs and flowers. In rooms of consultation, monstrous bodies they expect to be treated like in a workshop and in gardens, heads begin to fuse.
